In 2023, Daniel Ricciardo rejoined Red Bull Racing as the third driver, engaging in PR activities, simulator work, and supporting the team during race weekends. However, midway through the season, he transitioned to Scuderia AlphaTauri, replacing Nyck de Vries. Despite a challenging return to AlphaTauri, Ricciardo’s standout performance came in the Mexico City Grand Prix, where he secured a 7th-place finish, elevating the team’s position in the Constructors’ Championship. Looking ahead to 2024, Ricciardo is poised to continue his partnership with AlphaTauri, now undergoing rebranding, alongside Yuki Tsunoda.

Born in Perth, Australia in 1989, to Italian-Australian parents, Ricciardo started karting at 9. His early racing experiences in Formula Ford and Formula BMW paved the way for recognition by the Red Bull Junior Team.
